A third-generation journalist, I was born to tell stories. Some of my earliest memories are of “writing” on the kitchen floor while my parents patiently stepped over me. After graduating from journalism school at Indiana University, I briefly worked in the news before changing course to marketing. I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve worked for agencies big and small, as well as for the in-house creative teams at the University of Chicago, Kansas State University, and online education provider, 2U, Inc./edX.
I’m based in the Chicago area, where I live with my husband, two children, and rescue dog. I’m also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and pursuing my requirements to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
In what little free time I have, I enjoy trying new restaurants, experimenting with sourdough baking, watching Jeopardy, completing The New York Times’ daily puzzles, going to Costco, and taking naps.
